Joseph Lopchan and his family came from Amlekhgunja VDC, Ward No. 4, Bara District which is south of Kathmandu. Currently they are living in Badegaun VDC, Ward No. 3, Lalitpur District. Joseph has an elder brothers named Krishna Lopchan and Prakash Lopchan. Both they were not going to school because their parents were not able to provide them school materials and exam fees. They are living together in a dark room as the community of the Slums. Their parents were working as a daily laborer; both of their income hardly covers the room rent, daily food. One day, they came to Living Life Church (LLC), where we used to go. The priest shared with me about their family condition and we prayed about how we might help them. We prayed more than a month and priest gave me a letter recommending that SCH could do something for them. Now Joseph has got a godmother for future life and is very thankful to Titta.

Bibek Ale Magar’s home is located at Tanahu District, Abukhaireni, Ward No. 6, it is in the plains mid-west out of Kathmandu. Bibek has 5 members in his family staying in a rent room. He is the second eldest son in his family. His elder brother is named Ruben, younger brother is named Binod, younger sister is named Sarah and then there is mother. Suddenly it happened to Bibek that his father left his entire family and disappeared. Now their mother was caring them by working with Nepali families to earn some money which is insufficient to fulfill daily needs sending them to good school in town. Ranjan Shah age of 12 years, is a boy from Gamhariya Birta VDC, ward no. 8, Rautahat. He is son of Narad Shah. Ranjan has elder sister, Krishna Shah and their mother died and they become helpless. His father drinks, he did not go to work. Because of his father Ranjan did not go to school and the future of his life became dark. One day one of his relatives came to Sahara to share about him. We asked his relative to know about condition, family background and income sources about him. Finally if nothing happens he would became real needy child, therefore we decided to bring him to Sahara to give good care. Ranjan is rejoicing of his godfather Tarmo.

I also live in Nakhu and it is way to go to Sahara. I would like to say about my family background. There are 4 members in my family. My family situation is very poor, which gets very much difficult to my family, for me have no choice, so my mother was requested for my education support, which I am getting from Sahara. I want to tell you that my mother was also cared by the Sahara until she got married but she chose her married life either than her studies, she can’t more but she is just under SLC. My elder sister Hikisha Thapa Magar also studying at same school as she is hardly paying school expenses by my mother. I am staying with my mother. Kistha got godmother and father and she is very grateful to Annika and Aki.

Sunsari, Dharan is in the plains east of Kathmandu Nepal where Saroj Pariyar was born and this was home to him but now he is homeless, he was staying with his grandfather before we bring him to SCH. His mother left him when he was small boy; she re-married with another man. His father also left him and he is still unknown.This information we received one of our Executive Committee Member Mr. Pradip Rai. We decided to bring him to Sahara to give cares. He is very happy of getting Susanna for his godmother.

Dolma Tamang is born in Nuwakot, Trishuli District. This district lacks the proper school, health care system and other basic facilities. Her father has died, and mother was remarried. In the beginning Dolma was living in the new family and stepfather was taking care of her. But after some time, he did not want to keep Dolma anymore with them. Mother was not able to find a solution how to take care of Dolma and she was rejected to the street. From the street she was going same school with the Sahara-home`s children.  Teachers of the school contacted Nirmal and Dolma was taken to the Sahara-home. Her life may change if she gets a committed godparent to support her education and living at Sahara-home.

Ishan was born in Ramechhap District Umakunda Municipality, Ward No. 6 in the eastern remote area. There is no proper educational, health other required or development facilities at his local place. His father left him because he was remarried. His mother also left when he was small boy, still she is missing. Ishan is not able to meet his parents because his father is not in contact. Ishan was taken to his maternal uncle's house by his mother, left him there so that his maternal uncle and his family can take care of him. She did this because she needs to work to earn some money to survive her own life. Otherwise it was not easy for her. She has struggled many years and not got married thinking her child Nissan’s future. But at the end she decided to re-marry. So she re-married with another man. Ishan was also not cared properly in his maternal uncle's place. So, Ishan totally became helpless child and we decide to bring him to SCH to change his life as we expect in our prayers to get godparent for future life.

Iran was born in Ramechhap District at Umakunda Municipality, Ward no. 6, it is eastern remote area. His father went away and has been missing for 10 years since Iran was 2 years. Iran’s younger brother, Rohit died suddenly by the head injury on 2017. Iran’s family had a house made of mud, the house was destroyed in the recent earthquake in Nepal 2015. His mother has been staying in the  cowshed because this family has no other options. Government of Nepal, its´ investigation team certified letter categorized in group “A” earthquake victim. One my (Nirmal`s, the father of the Sahara) friend called about him for a place at SCH if possible. He explained more about the situation of Iran and it touched our heart, we prayed about it what we could do for Iran. Finally we decided to bring him at SCH with required documents. He is doing well, expecting how to secure life for future to find the godparent.

Dane comes from the mountainous area of Gaumukhi Rural Municipality, Pyuthan like Trisana. The municipality is located west from Kathmandu. Dane`s father died when he was only about 11 years old. Mother is poor and is not able to take care even of the basic daily needs of Dane. He has been going to school with the help of other villagers. Nirmal´s friend shared His story in same time when he contacted about Trisana`s situation.

Bharosha comes from Udayapur, which a small village. It takes 3 days  to reach Udayapur from Kathmand. In the home village are living the grandparents. Bharosha`s father is remarried and in the new family there is no place for Bharosha. Mother is living alone and she is poor, not able to take care of Bharosha alone. Bharosha has also an elder brother living in Kathmandu. In the school she likes Science and does not like math. Bharosha i a really good dancer and likes to plan choreographies.
